Lily's Heart Cake

Lily turned 4 yesterday, and requested a two layered heart cake; she wanted one layer yellow cake, and one layer chocolate cake. She also asked for pink frosting and a small red heart.  The cake was a 14 inch heart cake pan so the cake was large.  :)

Mary and Randal's 38th Wedding Anniversary Cake

Mary and Randal have been married for 38 years, and since Mary is a MOPS Mentor Mom, I have had the opportunity to get to know her over the past few years.  Since these two love birds are celebrating their anniversary without their 4 kids, I made them a small cake. 

The cake is a single layer chocolate cake that I divided and put a thick layer of butter cream frosting between.  I then coated the cake in red butter cream frosting. 

"And the two shall become one."
