Kyle's Graduation Cake

If you follow me regularly,  you saw the cookies that I made for Kyle's graduation a few weeks ago.

Well here is how Kyle's graduation cake turned out.  The cake is a yellow and chocolate marble cake that is topped with buttercream.

University of Wisconsin-Madison Graduation Cookies

Kyle is graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison today and his mom ordered him these cookies to help celebrate.

She's going to Saint Mary's College

These cookies were made for a graduate who will be attending Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana. The graduate happens to be the God Mother of a sweet little girl I have had the joy of watching so I really enjoyed being part of the graduation surprise. I hope they were enjoyed!

SBHS Class of 2011

So the county we live in has 5 schools if you count Washington Island.  I know for sure that 3 of those schools will be celebrating their graduation ceremony this weekend.  I received a phone call last week to see if I could make some Graduation cookies, the women calling had won a gift certificate that I had on a platter of cookies at a benefit.  The more we talked we came up with exactly what she was looking for, I made graduation hats with tassels, graduation hats without tassels and circle cookies with the graduate's name and SBHS Class of 2011.

Graduating from UW Madison

As I posted earlier this week, Graduation Season is starting.  I made a few more Graduation Cap cookies some with tassels, some without and a few more “W” for the University of Wisconsin Madison.  When I packed up these cookies I had to arrange them differently than what I normally like to, as during my "photo shot" I lost a tassel.  These cookies are on the fragile side.

Wisconsin Graduation

It’s getting to be that season where colleges and high schools start having their graduation. 

Our neighbor’s son-in-law happens to be graduating from UW-Madison this weekend.  These are for the family to enjoy this weekend. 

I’m sure my “IOWA” family members will be most disappointed that I would even consider making “WISCONSIN” cookies.  Oh, well.
